I’ve been using Calendly’s free plan to handle meeting bookings, and while it works okay for basic needs, I’m starting to wonder if it’s truly enough for someone working full time in the USA. The free version allows connecting one calendar, sending notifications, and hosting unlimited bookings—but it also limits you to a single active event type and doesn’t support more advanced customizations.
For those of you in the USA, what’s your experience with the free plan? Did it cover your needs, or did you hit roadblocks and have to upgrade or switch tools? What limitations pushed you to move away (if you did), and what features were most important when you chose something else? |

Calendly’s free plan works fine for simple scheduling, but once you’re managing multiple clients and time zones, it starts to feel limiting. I found this guide https://meetergo.com/en/magazine/free-calendly really helpful. It goes over free alternatives and tips for getting more flexibility, like multiple event types and better calendar integrations, without having to upgrade right away. |

Thanks, that’s really helpful! I’ve definitely run into those limitations with the free plan, so this guide looks perfect for exploring more flexible options without paying. |
