Airport Apron Bus Passenger Cabin
1) The passenger cabin is a large-capacity compartment with a flat floor. The entire passenger cabin is 2.42 meters high, which increases the standing space for passengers in the cabin. The passenger cabin has 14 seats and a rated passenger capacity of 112 people (4 people per square meter standing).
2) To facilitate passengers' quick and safe boarding and alighting, 3 extra-wide pneumatic doors each side of the passenger cabin are provided to allow two passengers to pass through smoothly at the same time.
3) Special facilities for the convenience of disabled people to get on and off the wheelchair are provided on both sides of the front door of the cabin, and 2 fixed wheelchair areas and devices for wheelchair passengers to hold onto are set in the cabin. Wheelchairs are not allowed to obstruct normal passengers when not in use.
4) All the doors in the passenger area are operated and controlled by the driver. The opening and closing settings are on the driver's console. The control buttons can be set as 2 main control + 6 sub-control switches. When the door is not closed, a light or sound signal will be sent to the driver to ensure passenger safety with a new technical measure.
5) The pneumatic pipes (tubes) used for the passenger doors are made of a well-known brand, Hebei Yadan Nylon Pipe. There are no more than 10 joints in the middle of the pipe to ensure stable air pressure and no leakage.
6) The electromagnetic valves and door pumps used in the passenger door system are of well-known brands, with stable and reliable performance.
7) The passenger door system is equipped with emergency opening switches and operation markings inside and outside the cabin.
8) The passenger door system is equipped with manual rotation and latch safety locks. In adverse conditions (such as strong winds or typhoons), it locks the passenger cabin to prevent it from being eroded by the external environment.
9) Pneumatic passenger doors (aluminum alloy frame)
a) Automatic anti-collision function, which can quickly react and open when a passenger is caught and prevented from being injured. In driving, a unique design of automatic door opening protection function is equipped to ensure the safety of passengers during driving.
b) Vehicle start protection function, when the passenger door is not fully closed, the vehicle cannot start.
c) Passenger door self-locking function, when the vehicle speed exceeds 3 km/h, the vehicle speed signal and the passenger door linkage signal take effect to enter the self-lock state.
d) Passenger door forced release function, when the passenger door malfunctions and cannot be opened normally, the forced release switch can be pressed on the driver's console.
10) The shuttle bus has a safety interlock device: when the passenger door is opened or not fully closed, when the gearshift is changed from neutral (N) to drive (D) or reverse (R), the control system will not perform the gearshift action. At this time, the gearshift should be changed to neutral, the door should be closed properly, and then the vehicle can be driven. If the passenger door fails and needs to be sent for repair while the door is open (the vehicle cannot carry passengers), press the red "Interlock Release" button on the console, then the interlock is released. After the fault is repaired, the "Interlock Release" button should be reset to restore the interlock, greatly improving operational safety.
11) The side window glass of the vehicle body is a unit-type bonded tempered safety glass with a thickness of 5mm. Each side has 2 sliding windows. It serves as a ventilation and cooling device in the early stage of using air conditioning in summer, with high utilization rate.
12) The wheel package of the passenger cabin adopts an assembled decorative wheel package and is equipped with 14 plastic seats.
