Straight liquid tight connector is used to terminate and seal metallic and nonmetallic "Type B" liquid tight conduit to a steel outlet box or any other metallic enclosure. The liquid-tight connector is with NPT threads and gasket. The liquid tight straight connector is suitable for use in Class 1 Division 2, Class II, Divisions 1 & 2; and Class III, Divisions 1 & 2 per NEC 501.30 (B). The liquid-tight connector can be used with tapered threaded entry or an unthreaded knockout using the provided sealing washer and conduit locknut.
General speaking, we provide liquid tight connectors with throat uninsulated. If you need insulated throat, please let us know when placing orders. On the other hand, please specify blue, yellow or any other color for the plastic part of the liquid tight connectors.
In some case, you may order 6" liquid tight connector that is not a UL listed product. The minimum order quantity 100 pieces is required for this special size.
