One of the things that the new Path of Exile participant I spoke to expressed confusion about was the fact that there is a "meta" in what is mostly a Royal Path of Exile game. But if you want to make your own build, you're probably fine. You likely will not have the ability to clear the highest tier of maps or bosses, but you can do most of the Path of Exile game's content, and experience something completely new. There's no punishment for experimentation, and you will probably generate currency to your next playthrough along the way.
This section might not be something that a lot of Path of Exile gamers want to know more about. However, for both my friend and I, rivalry is something that keeps us interested. As a new Path of Exile player, he noticed that it felt as though Path of Exile did not have much of an end goal, because there wasn't any source of competition and the Path of Exile game's rather disappointing PvP is essentially dead. That explains why I told him all about the racing scene at Path of Exile.
In the last month, racing has become a massive community event. Havoc, among those racers, was tired of waiting to get a GGG-sanctioned race season, and decided to create his own. He got a bunch of professional Path of Exile players and racers with each other, and they have now hosted over 20 different racing events, using different principles and stipulations every moment. The best part? It's completely commentated, and employing multi-Twitch, we could observe all of the racer's progress as they move.
