It prices 90,000 every 15 hours. Less if you are doing it on your house and you actually have a medium smithing level (50, for instance, will make it price ~70k). Let's round up and call that 100k, just as we are rounding down the cost of Torag's into 300k not 340k. 86*15=1,290, that is how many hours you would need to be fighting this (not wearing it) until you spent as much on it as you would a dragon platebody.
For reference, 200 hours would be a very long time to receive a skill to 99. This degrades in battle. Not just wearing it. The stats do not degrade gradually. They're good and then they stop when it proceeds from 25% to 0%. I cannot understand why you'd pay substantially more for a poor part of armour solely based on the requirement to fork out small amounts of cash every 15 hours of battle. The reason why dragon platebodies are so expensive has nothing to do with their usefulness: it's only as they're difficult to get.
If not I will be receiving a Bgs, then a pair of claws with any excess money... After that remainder of money goes to leveling mage, pray, summ or herby. Ndy: Got 90 Str today. . Only rfd gloves REALLY worth getting is barrows gloves. . And getting all of the stats and pursuit reqs for them will require me atleast 2 months full of questing and skilling. . I would rather not. My tests are going on too. Notice how I don't have Ags anymore? Bgs is for pking and clw through fractures. .
