Inviata - 29/05/2018 : 09:27:12 I play with a lot of characters in MS Mesos , and one common thing among a lot of them, is that you make your own character and play for some time, to discover a couple of hours in which you are descended from some legendary hero, possess supernatural abilities you never knew about or other similar things which were done a thousand times before. That is good for a whole lot of games and I will understand that it gives the character some backstory and can be there to provide an explanation as to why you can conjure fireballs to throw at your enemies, however I prefer the "recognized hero" approach.
There are not many games that actually do this though, unless it is in a sequel and you are playing the same character from an earlier name in the show, or a character who you have learned about in previous matches, which in my opinion is a much better method of doing this. I think the hero classes in pine hit a good balance between both kinds, since they're both well-known heroes from their own time with their historical battle with the black mage, and the "unknown hero" when they wake to find themselves seriously weakened and also a stranger to many because of how long ago the battle with the black mage was.
As for character bodily appearance, it doesn't really bother me too much but I prefer having a lot of customisation options, especially if it's for a character that I'm going to buy Maplestory Mesos spending potentially tens of thousands of hours playing too. I can understand that a whole lot of developers would like that the personality look a specific way, nevertheless they intended them to appear, but I would rather have the liberty to make my character look nevertheless I choose and define for myself exactly what the character should look like, even if it does not fit in with the way the developers wanted the character to be, however this is normally only the case with single-player RPGs. The Nova classes (Angelic Buster & Kaiser) seem to get this done quite well, with letting you customise how the "foundation" personality looks to a good extent, but also having their true form show the character as the developer intended. I had never really considered this until today really, but this topic just made me think about doing it.
I'm not one for making my characters look like myself. I'd rather make a character that seems role-appropriate if I will be doing a particular thing for this character in an RPG. If I will be playing some kind of spellcaster it is likely to be an elf or another "magic" type race can be obtained, usually with some sort of ribbons or markings that appear to be common location. But there's also nothing wrong with devoting a character just for pleasure, to look exactly how you want it to. Many MapleStory personalities do a fairly great job of this with permitting you to get your gear seem like whatever piece of equipment or clothes you want, and I am pretty happy with the way Maple does this also, with there being a good assortment of cosmetic options available in 1 form or another.
Overall, I enjoy the freedom to actually do what I want with a personality, but there's nothing wrong with a match providing you a hero that the developers premade and gave a massive backstory and profile. I frequently read a lot to the lore of both RPGs and MapleStory characters if there's a fantastic amount available and it's well composed, which I have found myself performing with Maple fairly often. We have the obvious underlying stories about the black mage, the black wings, and everything else happening. But the little stories in the subject dungeons add backstory into the planet as a whole and to the characters, and it is interesting to just get lost in the sport world. That's what we're mostly here for anyway, right?
