iTunes is a popular music management software from Apple that is not only used to play and organize music, but also offers the ability to create custom ringtones for iPhone. In this article, we will show you how to use iTunes to create your own customized klingeltonekostenlos.de and add a personal touch to your iPhone.

Step 1: Select piece of music

Open iTunes on your computer and select a song from your iTunes library that you want to use as a ringtone. Make sure the song is in iTunes and is playable.

Step 2: Adjust song length

Ring tones should generally not be longer than 30 seconds. To adjust the length of the selected piece of music, right-click the song and choose "Get Info" from the drop-down menu. Go to the "Options" tab and set the song start and end time to use the desired snippet as ringtone.

Step 3: Convert to AAC format

Right-click the song again and this time choose "Create AAC Version" from the drop-down menu. This will create a new version of the song in AAC format, which will be used as the basis for the ringtone.

Step 4: Change file extension

Locate the newly created AAC version of the song in your iTunes library. Right-click the file and choose Reveal in Finder (Mac) or Open File Location (Windows). Change the file extension from ".m4a" to ".m4r" to identify the ringtone.

Step 5: Import to iTunes

Return to iTunes and choose "File" from the menu. Choose Add to Library (Mac) or Add File to Library (Windows) and locate the renamed .m4r file you created earlier. The file will now be imported into your iTunes library and recognized as a ringtone.

Step 6: Sync with iPhone

Connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB cable. In iTunes, click the iPhone icon to access the device overview. Go to the "Tones" tab and enable the "Sync tones" option. Select the ringtone from the list of available ringtones and click "Apply" or "Sync" to transfer the ringtone to your iPhone.

Step 7: Select the new ringtone

Go to the settings on your iPhone and select the menu item "Sounds & Haptics". There you will find your ringtones including the ringtone you created using iTunes. Select it and enjoy your customized ringtone.
